It’s a give and take though. We owe quite a bit of the market for smart phones to the popularity of the iPhone. Without the iPhone, Android phones might not catch on. Without Android phones, the Motorola Droid doesn’t get made. Without the Droid, Apple has no reason to ever change it’s behavior or improve the product.
